Gum paint

Antiseptic and tanning ingredients are combined in Denmark's gum paint, which is a topical solution. In severe bacterial infections and inflammatory situations, it is applied topically on the gums.

It contains potassium iodide and iodine, which work as antiseptics and antibiotics, killing microorganisms. Tannic acid is an astringent that stimulates soft tissue contraction and stops bleeding, making them rigid. Menthol serves as a local analgesic (pain reliever) and provides a cooling sensation, providing some pain relief. Camphor is a moderate analgesic that helps to relieve pain. Thymol has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, which helps to prevent mouth infections.

It's used to treat painful gum problems, inflamed and bleeding gums, teething pain and irritation, and stomatitis (inflammation of the mucous lining of the mouth).
